PayPal gift addressing (cont.)

Well, at least they responded quickly:   I reviewed your issue with our Help Desk and found that when you add a gift address as you have been doing you will experience the behavior you stated. It has been recommended that you remove the gift addresses and then re-add the address but don't indicate it is a gift address. This will allow use the address as you outlined to me.   Grrr... if you don't pick "Gift address", then it doesn't allow you to enter a name. It assumes your own name. Now I'm really lost. What is the purpose of their gift address entry screen? If you enter one, it can't be used anywhere.
